Saskia Griffiths-Moore is a young Brit-Country artist, increasingly known for her clear voice and contemporary songwriting, which draws from Roots, Americana and Folk influences. Often compared to Joan Baez and Joni Mitchell for her spirit and sound, Saskia enjoys performing year round on the acoustic circuit, on her own, and with her acoustic band.

Having left school with not much more than a GCSE in Astronomy, Saskia had set up practice on Harley street as the world’s youngest craniosacral therapist in 2013, before promptly leaving it all behind at age 22 to follow her passion into music, learning her craft on the streets; busking, singing and touring her way through the country all the while living in her campervan without WiFi or electricity.

In the last four years as a full time, international touring artist, her original sound has found her featured five times on Sky TV’s Folk Show (2017, 2018), and her latest recordings received both national and regional BBC promotion, as well as garnering 4 and 5 star reviews in Maverick and RnR Magazine respectively. For her sins, she has been awarded Arts Council funding three times for these tours, and currently flaunts an endorsement from Steve Agnew Instruments in the form of an interesting looking, luthier-made, parlour guitar.

She now lives in London, which fulfils her need for culture, but not nature, and remains an independent and self-managing artist.
