Hannah Cumming is 25 and has been playing the fiddle for 13 years, and within the last 4 years has started singing alongside playing the fiddle.
She has a passion for traditional English folk songs as well as acoustic and popular music. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Seth Lakeman, Nancy Kerr, Jackie Oates, Jon Boden and Eliza Carthy, plus many more. Hannah embraces these, and creates unique arrangements to suit each song along with her sweet but haunting voice.
And now, she’s joining forces with the fantastic multi-instrumentalist Jon Dyer. Jon is an experienced performer playing in many bands, which include Gadarene, Jon Dyer & Alfie Gidley and Palinka.
Jon is usually seen playing the flute but this time you can see him accompanying Hannah on double bass. This addition has broadened Hannah’s sound and created fresh opportunities while arranging new material.
This exciting new duo creates a fresh look on Hannah’s solo songs, exciting new tune sets and never heard before songs
