Jon Boden is best known is the lead singer of the progressive Folk juggernaut Bellowhead who have sold 250,000 albums, had seven singles playlisted on Radio 2 and sold out hundreds venues including The Royal Albert Hall. Alongside Bellowhead Jon has continued his development as one of the foremost names in English Folk music.

Solo, Jon performs the self-penned songs of Songs From The Floodplain, Painted Lady, Afterglow and Rose In June, material from Bellowhead, Spiers & Boden, and his A Folk Song A Day project in which he recorded 365 Folk songs in one year, as well as music from his most recent album Last Mile Home (Hudson Records) and more.

Jon Boden’s Free Pre-Concert for Ticket Holders Only

Colourchord Singing Workshop 6.30pm – 7pm

Colourchord is a harmony-singing system developed by Jon Boden, with the support of funding from Awards For All, which allows any group of singers to sight-sing in four part harmony regardless of experience, using colour-coded lyric-sheets rather than musical notation.

Jon will provide printed resources for use by the participants for a thirty minute pre-concert workshop led by Jon in The David Hall, running from thirty minutes before door time to door time or as agreed with the venue. Minimum of 12 people require.
